Rover, Roger

credits: analyticsindiamag.com   E arlier this week, India captured global attention when it became the first country to successfully soft-land on the Moon's South Pole. The Indian Space Research Organization has come a long, long way since transporting assembly parts of rockets on bicycle backs in the 1960s. Chandrayaan Trilogy India has launched 3 rockets into the Moon's orbit thus far, of which the second one turned out to be barren when it lost contact with the operating team. The Budget Chandrayaan-1 (2008): ₹386 crore (US$52 million) Chandrayaan-2 (2019): ₹978 crore (US$128 million) Chandrayaan-3 (2023): ₹615 crore (US$75 million) The combined budget of all three Chandrayaan missions was way cheaper than the combined budget of The Batman Trilogy by a baffling mark of US$330 million. Life on Moon Though all of these three missions were planned with somewhat different goals, a very strong common denominator was finding out whether human survivability was possible on the M...

C PROGRAMMING

C language was developed in the year 1972 by Dennis Ritchie at AT&T's Bell Laboratories, USA. C is a procedural language (executes the program step-by-step) Basic features of C language  simple and efficient portable (it can be used in any operating system) extensible (can add user defined functions to it) modularity (not written as a paragraph but in shorter modules) speed (it compiles and gives output quicker) case sensitive ( small 'a' and capital 'A' are taken as two different variables and not as one and the same) Structure of a C program  Documentation section - any comments are added after "//" and is not compiled by the compiler "/* */" is used if the comment is written in more than one line. Linking section - Header file that links library files should be included - #include<stdio.h> Definition section - Assigning a value to a variable - #define pi=3.14. It is difficult to change the value of a number everywhere in the program...

SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY

Cell is the fundamental, structural and functional unit of life. Anton Von Leeuwenhoek was the first person to observe and explain a living cell. Rudolph Virchow explained the formation of new cells by saying                          "omnis cellula-e cellula" which roughly translates to cells are formed from pre-existing cells A cell consists of various components such as : 1  Cell Wall 2  Cell Membrane 3  Ribosomes 4  Golgi Apparatus 5  Mitochondria 6  Endoplasmic Reticulum  7  Lysosome 8  Vacuole 9  Plastid 10 Cytoskeleton 11 Centrosome 12 Centriole 13 Nucleus 14 Microbodies 15 Cilia and Flagella  16 Cytoplasm
